Sending email campaigns is an expensive business - checking that your email addresses are valid is even more time consuming.

It is virtually impossible to check whether an email address exists - it can be part of a "catchall account".  This is where all mail to a domain goes into a single mailbox.  So, mike.mouse@example.com may go into the same mailbox as minny.mouse@example.com, and so would xxxx.yyyy@example.com.

So, how can you weed out your email addresses to ensure that you are not trying to send to non-existent addresses?

What we can do to help:

1. check that your email addresses are validly formatted;
2. check that your email addresses have valid top level domains (spam@example.spam would fail while spam@example.com would pass);
3. check that a valid MX record exists (that a mail server is configured to accept your mail).

We don't claim our solution is a panacea for all you woes, but:

How It Works

You send us the email addresses in the agreed format. 

The first process is format checking (includes deduplication).
The second process is checking that the emails have a valid top level domain and have a valid MX record associated with it.

Upon payment, we will present you with two files.  The first file contains the 'valid' email addresses, the second any addresses that are not valid.

Please note: We do not guarantee that the email addresses in questions will work, are live, that a person receives the mail sent to them, or that there is a mailbox at the other end ready to receive your mailing.

Costs

Initial Setup Charge: £45 plus VAT
Cost per email address initial received: £0.025 plus VAT (or 2.5p plus VAT)

Example

If you send 1000 email addresses to process, the cost will be:

£45 + (1000 * 0.025) = £70 plus VAT
