Ecommerce Checkup for Health Supplements Site

Read how an effective ecommerce optimisation audit was just what the doctor ordered for a leading health site.
Online health website - Supplements Plus - is one of the UK's leading providers of healthcare supplements products. They specialise in supplying 'orthomolecular' products - products which work with your body's natural chemistry to facilitate health and well-being.

SupplementsPlus asked Web Marketing Strategy to carry out an analysis of its website, in particular its ecommerce operators to advise on how to make more of the service it offers.

As the managing director of SupplementsPlus, Harjeet Gore states:

"Our customers are really important to us, and we wanted to ensure that we were making the most of what we could do for them."

SupplementsPlus has an impressive and attractive website that has been going for a number of years. They understood they could do more, and had some great ideas how to make it work more effectively, but also saw the value of some independent advice. Gore again:

"Web Marketing Strategy offered us the opportunity to get an independent view – to test how others have done in the past."

After a range of consultation activities, Web Marketing Strategy presented their Report which was greeted warmly by the SupplementsPlus team. Nick Trainor, MD of Web Marketing Strategy, was pleased by the reception the Report received.

"SupplementsPlus are a quality operation and it was really good to be able to run through our ecommerce and marketing application audits with them."

SupplementsPlus are now on the road to improving the performance of their online operations. Although not all the recommendations from Web Marketing Strategy can be completed in the short term, now SupplementsPlus know where to focus their energies.

As Harjeet Gore concludes:

"It was a really useful process, confirming some things we already knew; highlighting some issues we had hardly considered; and giving us the confidence that we could make a difference to our customers and our business online."
